I mean, the Romans were the most advanced civilization from those times, they had everything! The problem is: Panem et Circus
They depended of their imperialism and when thay couldnt get the bread nor entertaminient to their land, the barbarians invaded and the western roman empire fell, but a sprite lasted on Constantinople, and they survived until the 15.century
